Manchester United’s 22-man squad heads to London for FA Cup final

Erik ten Hag’s team has left Manchester to play the FA Cup final against Man City in what could be the coach’s last game in charge.

Speculation over the Dutchman’s future has continued unabated in the run-up to his second FA Cup final as United manager. People seem to be quick to forget how the team surpassed their achievements in Ten Hag’s first season in charge, and are unwilling to accept the lower points with a disappointing campaign.

That said, we still expect Ten Hag to focus on winning the FA Cup this weekend. If they are going to fire him, why not do it with a trophy under his arm?

United took the train to London for the final on Friday afternoon. The manager was on board the train for the last time, in what is believed to be a superstitious ritual for Ten Hag, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The same publication has shared a list of United’s 22-man squad that traveled to London by train.

Hopefully they will enjoy a successful evening at Wembley tomorrow.
