Letshego and Ongos Valley partner on affordable housing

Letshego Bank Namibia and Ongos Valley property developers have announced a partnership to provide affordable housing, specifically designed to cater for those
in the middle to low income segment.

The $25 billion Ongos Valley housing project is a 20-year mixed-use development being built just 14 kilometers from Windhoek’s central business district. The area covers around 1,743 hectares and 28,000 homes will be built, including schools, numerous shopping centers and service stations, as well as institutions and companies.

Beyond home loans, Letshego Bank and Ongos Valley are pioneers in “green living” real estate development, Letshego Bank Namibia CEO Ester Kali said recently as they sealed the deal.

Reagon Graig, President of Ongos Valley Namibia, said that with innovative features such as recycling facilities, use of gray water and solar energy, they are setting new standards in sustainable real estate development, offering inspired and green living.
